Community over competition is one of Elysian’s core values, which means we love taking any opportunity we can to educate others and help them grow in their businesses!
Workshops
Starting with our “Curating your Stress Free Wedding Day” workshop series, offered annually from 2018-2021 and geared at helping couples build their wedding day timelines with confidence, we’ve been hooked on hosting workshops!
In 2022, alongside Jenna Rachelle Photography, we launched “The Wedding Workshop.” This was PEI’s first hybrid workshop, the perfect educational experience for both planners and photographers looking to level up their businesses, gain more confidence, learn the ins and outs and logistics of a wedding day.
In 2023, we hosted “The Modern Love Workshop,” expanding on the previous year’s successes and bringing in even more education + hands on experiences for attendees.

Mentorships
Books, blogs, courses and podcasts are great, but the best way to learn your way around the industry and gain success as a wedding planner is with hands on experience! I am always so excited when someone reaches out to express an interest in wedding planning. Not only do I find it rewarding to help aspiring planners get a leg up and hopefully avoid some of the mistakes I made early in my career, but I love seeing our industry grow and forging our own community of planners on the island.
The PEI wedding industry is much busier than many realize and the demand for wedding planners far exceeds anything I anticipated when I launched Elysian.
