Hi, I’m Kristina!

When I’m not working I’m probably elbow deep into whatever my current creative hyperfixation is (furniture restoration, woodworking, knitting, crocheting, resin art, cricut-ing everything, hand dyeing fabrics, sewing - the list is endless), rewatching TV shows and movies from the early 2000’s with a pile of dogs cuddled on my chest, or planning home renos that will never quite get totally finished. My obsession with my dogs (and yours) borders on unhealthy. Some might say fanatical. I know it may not look like it, but I swear they love me too!

I love making lists, being on time, people watching, organizing and re-organizing things over and over again, when dogs can’t keep their tongues in their mouth, anything mint chocolate flavoured, and I can’t live without yellow Red Bull.

There are loads of things I love about weddings… I love the electric energy in the air just as the ceremony is about to begin.  I love lighting the last candle in a reception space, and looking up to see the whole room glowing with romance.  I love learning more about my couples from the perspectives of their friends and family during speeches. I love the crazy butterflies I get in my stomach when I’m bringing a client to their first look, because I know they’re feeling them 100x more. I love seeing all of the happy tears, which I'm usually shedding too. 

But if I’m being honest, the wedding day itself isn’t even the part I love most about what I do.  I love the relationships I get to build. I love that my clients put their trust in me. I love that I get to be a part of such an important day in their lives. And I love knowing that I get to make that day easier for them.
