Weddings at the PEI Brewing Company
If you're like me, and at that age that all of your friends are starting to get married, chances are you've been to a wedding, been invited to a wedding or will be invited to a wedding being held at the PEI Brewing Company. At the very least, I'm sure you've heard of it! Brewery and pub by day, and amazing events venue space by night, the PEIBC's modern rustic industrial feel is so popular right now! The cement floors, high ceilings and exposed weathered wood all around requires very little decoration to be done as the beauty of the space speaks for itself.
Located at 96 Kensington Road, Charlottetown, PEI, the brewery opened this newly expanded location in May of 2013. Since then, it has become one of PEI's most popular wedding venues, and with good reason. Murphy Hospitality Group is well known on the island for its restaurants all boasting delicious and amazing food with great service. This extends to MHG's brewery experience. MHG offers a wide range of foods in their catering guide for events at the brewery, and none of the options will leave your guests disappointed.
Kelley, Jessica and the rest of the venue coordination team is extremely accommodating and willing to go above and beyond to make your day run smoothly. Their events packages include all of your important rentals including tables and chairs, chair covers, table linens, dish and silverware, with additional banquet tables, risers, sound equipment, and some decor available for additional rental fees.
The large venue can easily seat up to 250 guests, but smaller more intimate weddings (like my own!) need not feel out of place. I've also been to concerts and Art Battles at the Brewery and no event has ever disappointed. It's obvious how hard the staff works to make it such a popular and welcoming venue.

As a bride, I personally loved everything about having my wedding at the PEIBC. As a wedding planner, I'm really looking forward to the handful of weddings I've already booked at the PEIBC this wedding season!
